Blogging For Business Training
Have you heard that you should be blogging for your business, but don’t understand what this means, let alone know where to start?
Blogging for Business will help you understand the importance of regular blogging, how to get started, and create a plan to make it a seamless part of your overall business marketing strategy.
Working either one-to-one or in a group, the training will give you an introduction to business blogging and how it is central to your overall social media strategy.
The following questions will be answered:
- Why do I need to blog?
- Who are my audience – how are we connecting?
- What an earth to I write about (overcoming the dreaded “writer’s block”) – especially if “content is king”?
- Why does a picture speaks a thousand words (design is as important as content) – how do you source interesting images for your blog?
- How does my blog connect with my overall social media strategy?
- Business bloggers to watch out for (get inspired) – what are they doing that works?
- A clear understanding of why blogging is important, and how it can boost your online presence
- A clear idea of your audience, and topics that will engage them
- A clear plan to implement to get you started (and help you continue) writing
- A clear plan of action for sourcing great images
- A clear vision of your blog as your online hub, and how to spread your content through social media
- A clear idea of what works in business blogging, and who can inspire you
How much time do you need to invest? One-to-one sessions are two hours, and half-day workshops are run for small groups.
Feedback from recent participants at the Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce half day training:
“(The) trainer had excellent knowledge. Very friendly and interactive. Opportunity to apply what you had learned to your own business.”
“(The Course) was delivered very well. The interactive parts were also very useful (as well as the) chance to feedback to the group. It was packed with lots of information but (was) not overwhelming. It was good to talk ‘blogging’.”
“Practical examples, tips and advice. A good mix of group work and talking from the trainer (including) some good answers to questions posed by the audience.
