Social Media Marketing – how to connect with your audience online
Where do you start with social media marketing? It’s easy to feel left behind as social media platforms are evolving constantly. Should you be on every single one, and if so, how will you ever keep up?
Social media has to start with strategy – otherwise you will end up wasting hours online and not achieve anything for your business.
This is always where I begin with clients. Helping you to get clear about what you want to achieve online:
- With whom you want to connect (potential clients, business partners, industry leaders)
- What you want to say (it’s always about conversation, not just promoting yourself and your business)
- How you want your business to be seen (what image do you want to get across)
The next step is to decide which are the best platforms to reach your target audience – look at the pros and cons of each and think about where you want to set up compelling profiles.
Your website will be your online hub and the social media platforms you use the spokes of the wheel bringing people back to your site.
